SA360 will become a required component for all student-athletes, aiding them on and off the field.
MORRISTOWN, NJ March 8, 2017 — Evolution Labs and Wayne State University said today that they have successfully implemented the company’s SA360 platform. Wayne State’s motto is ‘Aim Higher,’ and that is just what the university is doing with the implementation of this new student-athlete success program. SA360 is a holistic program to help improve student-athletes’ chances of personal, academic and athletic success. With curated, engaging content in areas such as health and wellness, academic and study skills, decision making, leadership and career development, the SA360 program will help students, athletic advisors and coaches to aim higher both on and off the field. With this announcement, Wayne State has moved to fully implement the Evolution Labs platform across all of its intercollegiate teams
“SA360 has already begun to play a fundamental role in achieving our goals to equip student-athletes with the skills, attitude, knowledge and sense of self-worth and integrity to help them succeed not just in college, but beyond into their future lives,” said Candice Howard, Associate Athletics Director Academic Support/SWA at Wayne State. “College is a challenging experience, and being a student-athlete adds extra pressure and responsibilities. The SA360 platform provides an invaluable tool and resource to assist student-athletes in meeting the many demands of their schedules, even when they’re on the go and on their mobile devices.”
SA360 covers important success topics, including mental health, fitness and nutrition, study and test-taking skills, drug and alcohol use, sexual assault, NCAA compliance and career preparedness. It employs pulse surveys, social media, interactive self-tests and digital video to keep students returning for weekly updates.
“Wayne State recognizes the importance of teaching student-athletes life-skills in a highly engaging manner,” said Peter Kraft, Co-founder at Evolution Labs. “SA360 meets students where the students are – online and on their mobile devices – allowing them to connect and engage with content when and where it suits them, and ensuring that students are absorbing the material and reaching desired learning-outcomes.”
